Sweet Marjoram (Origanum majorana) is steam distilled from the leaves of the plant and has a woody, spicy, camphoraceous aroma. Historically this calming oil has been used for both physical ailments and spiritual rituals. Modern day use includes muscular pain, arthritis, and back pain. Natural constituents include linalool, methyl chavicol, cineol, eugenol and terpineol.
